<span class="text-color-accent">Till Death Do</span> Us Party
This film was produced to promote the exclusive parties hosted by Bridelux. Each party has a theme, so as a director I focussed on ways to augment that theming and bring it to life in a fun and exciting way. As with many event based projects, we had very limited control over the set and action, so I opened the film by staging the silhouette of a spooky character (me) walking towards the venue. We even covered the parked cars with smoke effects and used shots before the party started to set the scene.
The party had events industry guests outdoing each other with elebaorate costume and make-up. This made the curation of visuals a lot of fun - and easier that it might have been! We sourced suitably creepy music and added sound design like thunder to increase the horror vibe. As part of the clients marketing strategy, they we keen to feature prominent guests, so the rising pace of the music is used to cut between multiple key industry faces.
The film was made exclusively for social media, so the duration is short with pacey editing. The film ends with a customised version of the company's logo. This was one of the client's most popular social media posts ever and has been reposted countless times!
