Stuart Wood is an international PR & fashion photographer who has turned his creative focus towards luxury weddings. In a crowded market it is hard to stand out, so my approach was to 'sell him' rather than sell his 'photography'. I think a personal connection is vital if you want clients to trust you with the most important day of their lives.
We filmed an informal interview at One Marylebone in London. I prepared a range of emotive questions which I invoked once Stuart was comfortable. With such a condensed pitch, it was essential to craft really strong soundbites, so I coached him in his responses until we achieved a powerful and succinct results.
The curated interview was intercut with b-roll from a luxury photo shoot at Brocket Hall with Bentley Motors and pick-ups from his luxury bound albums. I feel the resulting 'introduction film' is distinct, personal and effective.
